ANTARCTICA
Two months in the ice – as the sole photographer on board the MS Bremen, an expedition ship operated by Hapag-Lloyd Cruises. Each journey began in Ushuaia and led across the rough Drake Passage to South Georgia Island and on to Antarctica. Vast penguin colonies, seals, seabirds, whales, and much more accompanied the voyage. Days started early at 6 a.m. and only ended when darkness fell, as there was so much to discover. Here I present the best images from my Antarctica exhibition.
